Instead of New Year's Resolutions...

I've been seeing this around the place, so I thought I'd give it a go. It started here I believe. There probably won't be many posts just yet, because it'll take me a day (at least?) to write my list.

Things for My Home

13. De-clutter lounge. (Begun)
14. Child-proof the lounge. (it has been, then Puggle got bigger, so it's still on the list.)
15. De-clutter study. (I think weâll just have to keep the door closed in any case, too hard to child-proof this.)
16. De-clutter hall cupboard.
17. De-clutter dining room.
18. Child-proof the dining room.
19. ~~Put up the spice rack.~~
20. Deal with the pantry. (Begun)
21. De-clutter kitchen.
22. Child-proof the kitchen. (We've put up a gate so he can't get into it, that sort of counts.)
23. ~~De-clutter laundry.~~ (Could have more done, but I'm counting it anyway.)
24. Child-proof the laundry.
25. De-clutter patio. (Begun, it's been consolidated, and I got rid of some stuff, but still some way to go.)
26. De-clutter the brown cupboard.
27. De-clutter the bathroom.
28. De-clutter my bedroom cupboards.
29. Re-paint the bedroom.
30. De-clutter the spare room. (Begun, well, I've rearranged it so the clutter is less overwhelming. And it's child-proofed to some degree. And Puggle's bed is made:-) )
31. Re-do the window treatment in the lounge. (Begun. I've replaced the venetians and curtains, but I'm waiting to hear that Spotlight have the fabric so I can replace the pelmut. I wouldn't bother, but if I don't, we'll have holes in the wall to fix.)
32. Re-do the window treatment in the dining room.
33. Re-do the window treatment in our room.
34. Paint the feature strip in the lounge.
35. ~~Get an adult couch.~~
36. Mulch the back yard. (Begun, I've started whipper-snippering!)
37. Catalogue our books. (Begun, the software was loaded on my laptop for me to work on, then it's power source died [I think that was the problem])
38. Catalogue our DVD/videos/CDs. (As above. Actually, Pad is doing this mostly.)
39. Make our bed every day for a month. (I'd forgotten this, but I have been doing it the last couple of days...)
40. ~~Put up the picture rail.~~
41. ~~Organise patterns.~~
42. Plan the approach to Christmas so I am organised.
43. Plan the approach to birthdays so I am organised.
44. Scan at least three programmes of work.
45. Throw out the hard copies (check that backups are working first!)
46. Check my Control Journal at least once a day for a month (even on the weekends).
47. Do a To Do list daily for a month. (almost:-( About 3 weeks, then I stopped. Will have to try again.)
48. Check the To Do list each day for a month and cross off things as I do them. (same as the last one.)

Things for My Relationships

49. Go camping (with Pad and Puggle).
50. ~~Take Puggle outside everyday for a month (nature study).~~
51. Speak in French to Puggle some of every day for a month.
52. ~~Make a list of words to sign with Puggle.~~ Although, we keep adding more.
53. ~~Learn the AUSLAN signs for all words on Puggleâs list.~~ We have to keep learning more as we add words.
54. Hug Puggle and Pad first thing every morning and last thing every night. (Half and half. Still working on it.)
55. Start a journal for Puggle and write in it at least three times a week. (Begun, I was being regular, but now, not so much.)
56. Have quiet time every day.
57. Learn to tango (with Pad!)
58. Read aloud daily (at least six out of seven days) as a family, for a month.
59. Spend one evening a fortnight at home with none of us on the computer or watching TV. (It's happened on occasion!)
60. Have dinner guests at least once a fortnight (not including immediate family) for six months.
61. Have another baby (not sure of the timing of this one - certainly be pregnant).
62. Send Christmas cards sufficiently in advance that they arrive before Christmas.
63. Send Wedding Thank-yous (we have them made up, we just have to write them:-( )
64. Send thank-yous for gifts after Puggle was born.
65. Invite a neighbour or friend to play games once a month.
66. Cook dinner for immediate family at least once every two months (both sides!) (I can't remember what I meant? Both sides the same time? If it's just each one separately, then we do this.)
67. Organise annual family reunion (long weekend in September?)
68. Update (and maintain) my address book in two places (electronically, and in Control Journal). (Getting there.)
69. Host monthly afternoon (or morning) teas for six months

Things for Me

70. Drink two litres of water every day (I used to be able to do this!)
71. Take up bellydancing again.
72. Get my hair cut regularly.
73. De-clutter my clothes.
74. âRe-styleâ my wardrobe.
75. Do the FLYlady daily pampering (or some equivilent) every day for a month.
76. Sing more. (Learn/re-learn a folksong each month.)
77. Go to bed before 11pm every night (bar no more than once each weekend) for a month.
78. ~~Eat breakfast every day.~~
79. Eat lunch every day. (Getting there. I find it harder to do this.)
80. Get my Wedding dress dry-cleaned (and fix the boning).
81. Use (or lose) the palm.

Things for Me to Produce

82. Finish Mumâs birthday present from ? years ago!
83. Sew Puggleâs floor rug. (Progress being made, I've cut all the animals, pinned them all, and appliquÃ©ed one.)
84. Finish the Christmas stockings.
85. Finish the Christmas sacks.
86. Finish the Advent calendars.
87. Make up all the clothing fabric I have (or get rid of it!)
88. Make Puggleâs first bookshelf.
89. Design a (practical for me to make!) dining table.
90. Make a dining table.
91. Use Uncle Peterâs camera.
92. Do my fifteen minutes a day of MMM for one month.

Things for My Environment

93. Plan (specifics, I mean!) the herb spiral.
94. Plant the herb spiral.
95. Prune the roses.
96. Be more active in caring for the garden. (in progress, I have four vegie garden beds out the front. They have plants. I'm looking after them.)

Things for My Wallet

97. Find a solution that allows me to stay home with Puggle full-time.
98. ~~Re-calculate our home insurance requirements.~~
99. Get taxes done more than two weeks before the due date.
100. ~~Sort out our health insurance.~~
101. Use frequent flyer points before they become useless. (Failed:-( )
